PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
BRIDGE Information Systems, St. Louis, MO 10/99 � Current
TAM, Technical Account Manager
- Complete responsibility and management for BRIDGE Information Systems technical integration and implementation with client site technologies in high-stress, always-on environment. Covering 20-25 client sites in the Mid-Atlantic region, traveling from St. Louis, MO on a biweekly basis. BRIDGE products provide real-time financial data utilizing Windows NT, Unix, and proprietary server software through the award winning BridgeStation desktop software.
- Assist client with LAN/WAN, firewall, remote access, PC performance, and technical support issues. Assist client technical support when necessary. Document all onsite BRIDGE technologies and provide client with detailed documentation on the products and our network presence at their location.
- Provide 2nd level escalation support and management for BRIDGE Customer Service on technical issues pertaining to all proprietary software, networking and financial information and news. Help troubleshoot client and central systems/NOC issues. Help Distribution Management staff monitor network, on-site servers and circuits.
- Assist and educate sales staff on BRIDGE technologies. Help sales evaluate and design client site systems. Provide sales with technical support during product demos.
- Evaluate and consult with client sites on technical needs. Help support the systems in large trading rooms and research departments for financial institutions. Refer unmet client needs to QA and Development staff.
- Assist and educate Customer Support Representatives in all network and communication related technologies, BRIDGE proprietary systems and software.
CSR, Bridge Technical Support
- Provide networking and technical support for the world�s leader in financial information systems through the largest privately held network with over 280,000 workstations, servers, and websites. BRIDGE provides data from more than 2000 content providers through award winning software platforms and networking systems to the top financial professionals worldwide.
- Work closely with Technical Accounts Managers and Distribution Management to help provide greater levels of client service.
- Ensure the functionality of the redundant data systems including network clustering, dual-homed servers, multiple circuits varying from 56k to full T1 lines, dial backup systems, routers, CSU/DSUs, network hubs, TCP/IP, transmitters and replicators.
- Assist with remote monitoring of the network through the various levels of data transfer. Perform remote diagnostic processes on the network hardware and software at the client site. Assist client IT professionals with local troubleshooting and maintenance. Provide first contact support and determine proper level of escalation. Monitor client site for high utilization of Bandwidth.
FITZ�S BOTTLING CO., St. Louis, MO 9/98 � 10/99
Manager
- Managed all aspects of full service restaurant and micro beverage bottling facility. Hired to instigate change and raise the level of quality and service provided by the company.
- Developed training manuals for the restaurant and helped to define all jobs and task assignments. Additionally, brought a new level of commitment and productivity to the company, which raised the confidence level and commitment of the ownership to the idea and overall concept of Fitz�s Bottling Co. and to the company�s continued growth.
- Worked closely with the company�s Point of Sale and computer services provider to upgrade the network and all terminals and to lay the ground work for a Wide-Area-Network which will completely integrate the business systems of each of the Fitz�s companies utilizing one of the following: DSL, T1 or a Frame Relay.
- Responsible for design and management of a full service web site with e-commerce generating thousands of hits per month and hundreds of personal contacts. Worked to upgrade the site to include more custom enhancements and possibly a live remote camera for online viewing of the production of the bottled beverages.
- Responsible for contacts with distributors and developers which led to the company�s expansion into the Kansas City, MO market which has led to increased sales and the development and building of a third full service Fitz�s Restaurant and Bottling facility.
- Managed all outside community events and special promotions with the local governments and local organizations, businesses, and media to build on the brand equity of Fitz�s and promoting the 8 premium flavors of Fitz�s old-fashioned sodas.
VI USA INTERNATIONAL BALLET COMPETITION, Jackson, MS 1/98 � 7/98
Administrator, International Dance School (IDS) -Contract-
- Managed all aspects of IDS programs including Student Workshop, Teachers� Workshop with David Howard, and Choreography Workshop with Dennis Nahat.
- Responsible for 12 IDS faculty, 8 IDS pianists, 281 participants, all IDS facilities, and managed IDS budget in excess of $300,000.
- Coordinated and managed IDS studio sites, dance class schedules, pianos, barres, student housing, student dorm supervision, class monitors, tuition and application records, transportation, registration, orientations, scholarships, placement classes, and ancillary IDS events.
